Reviewing Landing Pages
Published on:
I like to help people with their landing page. This is my new habit.
What Is a Landing Page?
A landing page is a web page that is designed to drive a specific action from the visitor. For example making a purchase, signing up for a free trial or entering an email address. They are often used to convert visitors into leads or customers.
The landing pages I will talk about are the home page of products or services. They want to convince the visitor to buy or use the app they made.
Reviewing
I like to help people on the internet, especially people on Indie Hackers. My most loved posts to answer to are requests for honest landing page reviews. There is a topic called Landing Page Feedback that is just for that. I will try to help others more consistently from now on.
Few months ago I even wanted to make a separate habit tracking site for myself where I would have posted free reviews of sites, but I never finished it.
Most of the time when I write a review I separate it into two sections:
- General things I noticed that a simple visitor would or things that would help conversion rates
- Technical issues that I noticed as a web developer
You can look at some of my reviews by viewing my Indie Hackers history. If you want me to review your website feel free to contact me.
